BB Focus XP2 photometry question

To use Back Button Focus on my XPro-2, I simply set the focus mode to Manual. Then, I can get either single or continuous BBF. However, I don't know what photometry pattern is being used. Also, I do not get an exposure "lock" either with the BBF or when tripping the shutter.

Can anyone enlighten me?
