X-Pro2 Exposure info display

I was out shooting with my X-Pro2 today. Something changed or was reset. The camera is set on Auto ISO, Auto Shutter Speed, and Auto Focus. I just want to control the aperture. When I look through the viewfinder at the scene (not the electronic viewfinder) and I press the shutter button half way to lock the focus, the exposure info doesn't change - but I think I remember that it used to change to reflect the exposure of the scene before I press the shutter all the way.
