Focus issue X P1. I am at a loss, can someone help?

Hi folks, I recently started having an issue with my camera (X Pro1). I set it up to BBF, and it shifts focus on me after locking in with the back button. When I press the shutter halfway down, it wants to shift focus off just a small amount. Thus, my subject is not sharp. This is starting to drive me nuts.
