Rear Command Dial Aperture Setting

New to X-Pro2. I have assigned the front command dial function to shutter speed and the rear command dial to aperture. Shooting in manual. Turning the rear dial does not change aperture.

Also, what is yellow lock symbol? How is it unlocked?
