X-Pro2 Shutter Freeze Problem

I've tried doing some searching on this and haven't been able to find my exact issue.

I have an X-Pro2 that's a little over 2 years old (about 25K actuations). I have firmware v5, was using the xf35mm/2 lens, set to ALWAYS use mechanical shutter, Wasabi Power aftermarket battery. I've been running glitch free for the full ownership, and have had that battery (and several others) for about 2 years.

Was doing some snaps around the house today, in EVF mode:

1. half-press focus...
