XT3 remote WIRED triggering (?missing, no but well hidden).

OK in the XT3 manual it mentions that there is a 2.5mm socket for remote wired triggering.

Well either my XT3 has grown a cover over the port but I cannot see the 2.5mm jack socket.

There is a 3.5mm jack socket for microphone and a 3.5mm jack socket for headphone in the XT3.
Neither of these 3.5mm microphone or headphone jack sockets provide the shutter triggering functionality.
