Odd Xpro3 behavior?

So most times when I'm shooting outside in decent light and the evf goes to sleep, when I bring the camera up to my eye and it wakes up I get a bright flash and then it adjusts to the current light levels. Not something I've noticed on my XE3 for example. Other than that the evf has been 100%.
