I have my X-pro2 for more than 1 year now and I love it. But, I never succeeded in connecting it to my MacBook pro (updated Catalina) and/or use it in conjunction with any application.
Be it LR CC, Fuji X Raw Studio, Fujifilm X Aquire or Apple's Photo app, nothing works.
I endlessly toggled the connections settings, I hunted the net for information, but alas...
