X-Pro2 graphite body discreteness, wear and black lenses

I'm looking to buy a like new X-Pro2 (I prefer the wide frame lines over X-Pro3) and assessing getting either a gloss black or graphite. I currently have the X-Pro1 so very familiar.

Questions:
1. I like that the black is very discrete. Nobody notices me at all with an X-Pro1. Does that hold with the graphite, or is it too bright or too shiny?
2. How does the graphite wear over time? My black paint X-Pro1 wears nicely (I really take care of my cameras, but it HAS been 7 years now).
