X-Pro series and astrophotography

I've just been watching a webinar by David Clapp showing some wonderful night shots of landscape with the night sky. Anyway, he had a slight digression into talking about mirrorless cameras (he's a Canon DSLR user) and made the point that the electronic viewfinder and LCD make it more of a challenge to take these images with a mirrorless camera. I have found this myself; trying to compose through the EVF or LCD is a nightmare because of the noise in the image.
