X-Pro2 Focus stick disabled setting ?

I have had today some strange "feature": The focus stick was not working to move the focus point. But it did work in picture view.
I could not get it back working. it started to work again after an Set-up reset.
Is it possible to disable the stick for focus point settings ? If so I must have done some setting to block it.
I cant remember where I did it. I fear it's an DAU error.
