Electronic Rangefinder Viewfinder magnification box.

I think I am definitely missing something. I am unable to get the magnification box to show up on the Electronic Rangefinder display. I've rtfm, watched YouTube videos and done searches in this forum and using Google. Will someone please explain how to make this show up. I get the electronic rangefinder screen, but no matter what I do with the lever, I can't get the little box to display. I also cannot see it if I look into the viewfinder from the front or the back. Thank you
