Hyperfocal/zone street shooting with clutched XF lenses

When I'm street shooting I tend to set a reasonably small aperture (generally f8 or f11), set a shutter speed (1/125 or 1/60 minimum) for my 23/1.4, leave it in manual focus, let ISO look after itself and then I can use the camera like a really expensive point and shoot Image may be NSFW.

I've found that the light touch focus rings of the 23/1.4 and the 14/2.8 can get bumped pretty easily when they are in manual (clutch pulled back), compromising the quick shooting style I'm trying for.
