X-PRO3 quality - disappointment

I was in the shop collection my new X-T4, when I noticed an X-PRO3 in the display cabinet. I asked if I could have a closer look and to my disappointment I noticed that the silver vertical surface above the lens and beside the OVF, was not flat, but concave! Closer inspection showed a small gap at its lower edge where it was coming away from the black cover. I was able to push on the metal surface causing it to move. So it is just a fake metal looking stuck on cover and not a "solid"...
